Documentary films

Tim has produced and directed all of these titles. 'Camp 32' has successfully toured the international film festival circuit and is now being distributed worldwide by Singapore based distributors, Ying Group Asia. Both the 'Doin' Time' and 'Krom' documentaries are works in progress.

Camp 32 Trailer

At age 6, Hom Chhorn was imprisoned by the Khmer Rouge at a remote site in rural Cambodia. There are no records of the labour camp where Hom bore witness to a daily succession of cruelty, disease and cold blooded executions. After 33 years, Hom returns to his former homeland to shed light on Camp 32.
Running time 65 minutes

Doin' Time

I was asked to produce a short documentary based on the book, Doin’ Time by Rachel Porter. It tells the stories of nine men who came from troubled and turbulent backgrounds who got offered a second chance and grabbed it. Many of them now work with vulnerable young people, to give back, as mentors or welfare officers.
Running time 17 minutes

Krom: Songs from the noir & The Mekong Heart

Crossing cultural lines, Krom fuse the western blues with traditional Khmer music to create a whole new genre of music they call The Mekong Delta Blues. They transcend music to raise awareness of deeply important humanitarian issues facing South East Asia. Krom are Cambodia’s first and only protest band.
